On Saturday, the WOM collective organised a paint jam at Leake Street Tunnel. Arranged in response to events of last week, it coincided with the vigil for Sarah Everard in Clapham Common. Some of my favourite street artists turned up to paint murals to support the call to end violence against women and fight for safer streets and spaces for women.

Unfortunately, I only heard about it late on Sunday, but I managed to pop by on Monday when I was in the area and fortunately most of the pieces were still there.

The works include some pretty powerful messages, some of which highlight how far we’ve got to go to ensure that women are treated equally, with respect and are able to live their lives without being in fear.
